"Berlin blue" is the name that goes back to the special colour of cobalt blue used for porcelain and other art objects in Berlin in the 18th and 19th centuries. This special type of cobalt blue was produced in Berlin and had a deep, rich colour that was characteristic of the city and its art and culture. Over time, "Berlin Blue" was used in other areas where the colour was used, such as fashion and design. In our case, the "Berlin Blue" is used for 2 wool jackets to emphasise Ben Weide's special connection with Berlin.
Like its brother the Sacket, this jacket is a thick winter edition of the suiddy : it is made of 100% virgin wool loden. The fine loden is woven in Germany's oldest cloth weaving mill with over 350 years of experience and specially prepared for Ben Weide. This gives the pieces a special water and windbreaker function. The fabrics are thus rainproof for up to half an hour. They can handle a rain shower without the need for rain protection. The titanium zippers are hand polished and very durable.
This suiddy is part of our limited collection and is made in limited quantities of 22 pieces, making it a special and exclusive garment. Whether you wear it with a casual outfit of jeans and sneakers or with a stylish combination of chinos and shirt, this suiddy can become a popular part of your wardrobe
