All Around the World
BEN WEIDE – ALL AROUND THE WORLD
With his new collection “All Around The World,” Ben Weide continues to build on his design DNA: architectural clarity, sophisticated layering systems, and uncompromising material quality. The collection is a textile journey – from rugged coastlines and expansive landscapes to urban precision.
The focus is on new cuts that combine structure and movement.
The Atelier Vest redefines reduction. With its precise stand-up collar and centrally positioned titanium zipper, it creates a clear vertical axis. No pockets, no decorative elements – only proportion, line, and material. Whether in mineral travertine , clear Lagoon Azul , or salty Salinas Rose : the vest works equally well as a standalone piece or as a smart layering element under a sacket or suiddy.
The Architect Vest follows the Bauhaus maxim "form follows function" even more radically. More austere, more purist, more uncompromising. In shades like Montaliv , Lava Night , or Midnight Cove, it brings architectural discipline to the collection and forms the calm, structuring basis of the system.
The Voody – a fusion of vest and hoodie – adds a sporty dimension to the layering principle. It bridges the gap between tailoring and movement. In colors like Warm Dune , Pebble Beach , or Basalto Verde, it translates landscape and wide open spaces into wearable form.
All garments are made from high-quality loden cloth of 100% merino wool , woven in Germany and finished in Europe. Titanium zippers, hand-dyed tagua nut buttons, and linings made from recycled PET bottles underscore the commitment to durability and responsibility.
“All Around The World” represents movement – both geographically and in terms of design. The collection draws on impressions from Wales, the Cotswolds, the Brighton coast, the vastness of the American Midwest, and the urbanity of Chicago, translating them into precise color palettes and clean silhouettes.
The title is also a subtle reference to the jazz and soul anthem of the same name by Lisa Stansfield – a quiet hint of rhythm, cosmopolitanism and timeless elegance.
Ben Weide remains true to his stance:
Material before staging.
Structure before ornament.
System over chance.
“All Around The World” is not a trend collection.
It is a precise composition of cut, substance, and attitude.
