The Architect Vest | SALINAS ROSE

It is the tone of pink sea salt crystallising in shallow salt pans under the Canary Islands sun. Mineral, luminous and calm at the same time. A warm, salty pink with subtle depth – inspired by the Salinas of Fuerteventura.

The Architect Vest follows one uncompromising idea: reduction.
Inspired by the Bauhaus maxim “form follows function”, it deliberately does without pockets and decorative elements. No distraction. No ornament. Just line, proportion and material.

Its purist appearance creates a clean silhouette that works both under a Sacket and over a shirt. Worn as a mid-layer under a Suiddy or as a statement piece on its own – the vest stays calm and precise.

The distinctive zip, also used on our Sackets and Suiddys, runs exactly along the front. It forms a visual axis and combines technical function with minimalist aesthetics. Reduced. Modern. Consistency in metal.

Side adjusters, each with two tagua nut buttons, allow subtle adjustment of the width. This natural material – also known as vegetable ivory – stands for sustainability, craftsmanship and lasting value.

The fine merino loden made from 100% merino wool is woven in Germany’s oldest cloth mill, with more than 350 years of experience, and finished exclusively for Ben Weide. The traditional fulling process gives the fabric structure, softness and substance. Naturally temperature-regulating, breathable and machine washable – modern luxury can be functional.

Inside, the lining made from recycled PET bottles and viscose ensures comfortable wear. The signature red decorative piping on the left side adds a deliberate, recognisable detail – a quiet signature.
