A warm sand tone with chalky, mineral depth – inspired by porous travertine shaped by water and time over centuries. Not a flat beige, but an architectural stone colour that reflects light softly and makes texture visible.

The Atelier Vest translates this materiality into a clear design language.

The precisely cut stand-up collar defines the silhouette. It adds poise without severity and creates a calm, vertical line – matter-of-fact, clear, controlled.

The central titanium zip, hand-polished and technically exact, forms the structural axis of the vest. Metal as structure. Function as design. Reduced and durable.

Travertin shows its strength especially in layering.

Made from high-quality loden in 100% merino wool, the vest combines natural warmth with clear structure. The fine merino fibre is temperature-regulating, breathable and pleasantly soft. The fabric is woven in Germany – in a cloth mill steeped in tradition – and finished exclusively for Ben Weide. The fulling process ensures substance, shape retention and durability.

Inside, a lining made from 48% recycled polyester (from PET bottles) and 52% viscose provides stability and comfort. The red decorative piping on the left sets the precise, recognisable signature.
